Jemima Adegoke is a quintessential marketing and communications professional with 7+ years of experience in marketing and communication strategy, execution & management across multinationals and fintech.
She started her career as a content specialist at an advertising agency in Lagos in 2015 where she handled digital content planning, execution and management for notable brands like UBA, RedTV and Paga to mention a few. She later moved to one of the leading digital marketing agencies in Nigeria, Wild Fusion where she led the social media team and processes, as well as the digital planning, execution & management of brands like Oando, Diamond(Access) Bank, Lafarge Africa, Orijin and Smirnoff to mention a few.
Jemima transitioned into tech in 2019 when she joined Aella App as the marketing & communications lead. She led and managed Aella’s rebrand from Aella Credit to Aella App, launched Aella’s Insurance product (Aella Care) into the market and executed campaigns that contributed to the company’s growth.
Jemima currently heads the marketing and communications team at Fincra, a global fintech company on a mission to make sending and receiving money across the globe as simple as sending a text message.
As one of the few marketing leaders in Nigerian Fintech with experience in both business-to-consumer(B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) marketing, she is one of the contributors to “The Growth Handbook – Scaling Fintech in Nigeria“, a book compiled by Olabinjo Adeniran, a Nigerian technology professional.
